DESCRIPTION

Saucony Triumph 24—is such a big deal, firstly you have to look at how we got here. For over two decades, the Triumph has been the "gold standard" for luxury and high-mileage protection

The Triumph 24 fixes this by moving to a brand-new foam called IncrediLUX. This is an Aliphatic Thermoplastic Polyurethane (A-TPU). Unlike the heavy TPU of the past, this "second wave" foam is chemically engineered to be significantly lighter while keeping that "invincible" durability and temperature stability that TPU is known for. It’s designed to feel firm initially but soften significantly as you move through your gait cycle, giving you a "magically soft" landing.

Max Cushion Meets a Massive Weight Drop

If there is one thing everyone is talking about with this release, it’s the weight. Hitting the scales at approximately (249g) for a men's size 9, it’s half an ounce lighter than the previous version.

But here’s the kicker: it’s lighter despite having more foam underfoot. The Triumph 24 pushes deep into "maximalist" territory with a massive 43mm heel stack and 33mm in the forefoot. You’re getting 3mm more protection than before, but in a package that feels nimble enough for marathon-pace efforts, not just slow recovery jogs. One of the main criticisms of the recent Triumphs was that the plush uppers could get a bit hot during the summer. The Triumph 24 addresses this with a new engineered mesh that prioritises breathability without losing that "premium at every touchpoint" feel. Expect a secure lockdown through the heel and tongue that accommodates a wide range of foot shapes—what Saucony calls a "democratic" fit.

  • What's new vs. Triumph 23?

    • New incrediLUX midsole replaces the previous PWRRUN PB setup.
    • Stack height increases from 37/27 mm to 43/33 mm.
    • Weight drops slightly despite the larger stack.
    • More energy return and a softer, more responsive ride according to early reviews.

    Best for

    • Easy runs
    • Long runs
    • Recovery runs
    • High-mileage training
    • Runners who prefer a highly cushioned shoe with a traditional 10 mm drop

Key Features:

  • Saucony Triumph 24 Key Features

    • All-new incrediLUX midsole foam – Saucony's latest A-TPU-based foam delivers a softer, more energetic ride while remaining surprisingly lightweight for a max-cushion shoe.
    • Maximum cushioning platform – A massive 43 mm heel / 33 mm forefoot stack provides excellent impact protection for long runs, recovery days, and high-mileage training.
    • Lightweight for its class – At approximately 250 g for a men's US 9, it is lighter than many competing max-cushion trainers.
    • 10 mm heel-to-toe drop – Maintains the traditional Saucony geometry that many heel strikers and long-distance runners find comfortable.
    • Breathable comfort mesh upper – Redesigned engineered mesh improves airflow while providing a plush, secure fit around the foot.
    • XT-900 carbon rubber outsole – Durable rubber coverage in high-wear areas enhances traction and extends shoe life.
    • Smooth rocker-like transitions – Updated geometry and increased longitudinal stiffness help the shoe roll efficiently from heel strike to toe-off.
    • High-mileage comfort – Designed primarily for easy runs, long runs, recovery runs, and daily training where comfort is the priority.

Performance Insights:

  • Comfort: Many runners have praised the Triumph 24 for its plush feel, making it suitable for easy runs and recovery days.

  • Durability: The shoe's construction suggests it can handle extended mileage, though individual experiences may vary.

  • Stability: Some users have noted that the soft cushioning may feel unstable, particularly for those transitioning from more structured shoes.

Summary

The Triumph 24 moves away from the slightly firmer feel of previous Triumph models and becomes a true premium max-cushion trainer. It combines deep cushioning, good energy return, and lower weight, making it one of the strongest daily trainers released in 2026.

Saucony Triumph 24 is best suited to runners looking for a highly cushioned neutral shoe for easy and long-distance running rather than speed-focused workouts.
