Inspired by Leadville and its legendary 100-mile race, the Speedland RX:LDVL is built for runners who refuse to let the road decide where the run ends.

Its high-stack platform combines trail-tuned ATPU superfoam with a removable drop-in core, producing a cushioned and responsive ride across roads, gravel and light trails. The included full-length carbon plate creates a stiffer, more propulsive ride for racing. Remove it and the shoe becomes a softer, more flexible daily trainer.

A multidirectional BOA Li2 dial activates Speedland’s PerformFit Wrap, securing the midfoot with precise adjustments. A separate hook-and-loop ankle strap creates a second fit zone for additional control when leaving the road behind.

The Feathercast polyurethane outsole uses 3.5 mm lugs to provide traction without making the shoe feel out of place on pavement. It is grippy enough for gravel and hard-packed trails, yet smooth enough for road sections between them.

The RX:LDVL is not quite a road shoe and not quite a conventional trail shoe. That is exactly the point.

The Speedland RX:LDVL fits true to size. Choose your normal UK running-shoe size.

It has an anatomical toe box with room for natural toe movement, while the BOA-controlled PerformFit Wrap secures the midfoot. The separate ankle strap allows the upper fit to be tightened independently for added off-road control.

The adjustable construction works well across different foot volumes, but runners between sizes or wanting a closer racing fit should try both options where possible.

The RX:LDVL takes the fast, responsive platform introduced by the road-focused RX:FPY and gives it a trail-tuned midsole, more secure upper and proper multi-surface outsole.

Compared with the HOKA Tecton X, it offers greater fit adjustability and the freedom to remove the plate. Against the Adidas Terrex Agravic Speed Ultra, it feels broader and more adaptable across training and racing.

This is the Speedland for runners whose routes regularly move between tar, gravel and trail—and who do not want to change shoes halfway through.
