What's New in the 860v15

The New Balance 860 v15 makes changes you feel immediately. The heel-to-toe drop drops from 8mm to 6mm—small on paper, but it creates a more centered, grounded landing that feels noticeably more natural.

Weight increases too, from about 10.8 oz to 12.1 oz (men’s), thanks to a denser cushioning platform and an expanded Stability Plane. It’s heavier, but also more solid and supportive underfoot. The women’s version comes in lighter at around 9.4 oz.

Stack height sits at 32mm, with Fresh Foam X delivering controlled cushioning. The refined Stability Plane still guides your foot subtly—more guardrail than force—keeping things stable without feeling intrusive.

A durable blown rubber outsole provides reliable grip, while the rocker shape helps transitions feel smooth and easy. Up top, the breathable mesh upper offers a secure, comfortable fit, with widths ranging from narrow to extra-wide.
