Built To Handle The Longest Of Terrains

Most trail shoes give you what the factory decided. The Speedland GS:PDX lets you make the decisions.

Built for long-distance trail running and ultramarathons, it combines maximum protection with an energetic HTPU superfoam that remains responsive deep into a run. A removable drop-in core sits inside the midsole and can accommodate an optional Carbitex GearFlex plate when you want additional propulsion, protection and stability.

Two BOA Li2 dials control Speedland’s PerformFit Wrap, allowing the upper and lower sections to be adjusted independently. Tighten it down for technical terrain. Release the pressure when your feet begin to swell. No stopping to retie laces.

The Michelin Fiber Lite outsole uses 4.5 mm lugs for dependable traction across mixed terrain. The lug tips can be trimmed for harder surfaces, while an optional drainage port can be opened for wet conditions.

The GS:PDX is broad, protective and unapologetically technical. It has been designed for runners who spend serious time on the trail and want their equipment to work just as hard as they do.

It has a spacious, rounded toe box with a more secure fit through the heel and midfoot. The extra forefoot room accommodates wider feet and gives your toes space as they swell over longer distances.

The dual BOA system allows the upper and lower fit to be adjusted independently, helping runners with both average and lower-volume feet achieve a secure hold.

The GS:PDX brings Speedland’s proven GS ultra-distance platform back to its Portland roots. It is not a stripped-back racing shoe. It is a fully loaded piece of trail equipment.

Compared with the Altra Olympus, it provides similarly generous forefoot space but adds a higher drop and more precise midfoot adjustment. Against the HOKA Mafate, it feels broader and considerably more customisable.

The real difference is control: control over the fit, the ride, the traction and even the drainage. Speedland has turned trail-shoe technology all the way up.
