The Speedland GL:PDX is what happens when you take Speedland’s full technical package and bring it closer to the trail.

Its lower-profile GL platform delivers a more agile and connected ride than the higher-stacked GS series, without giving up the protection needed for technical terrain. The two-part midsole combines a durable HTPU carrier with a removable, responsive drop-in core. An optional Carbitex GearFlex plate can be added when you want extra propulsion, protection and stability.

A multidirectional BOA Li2 dial controls the PerformFit Wrap across the forefoot and midfoot. A reverse strap secures the upper section, allowing you to adjust the fit quickly without stopping to deal with conventional laces.

Underneath, the Michelin Fiber Lite outsole uses aggressive 6.5 mm lugs to bite into mud, loose ground and broken terrain. The lug tips can be trimmed for harder trails, while a sealed drainage port can be opened for consistently wet conditions.

The result is a technical trail shoe that feels responsive, secure and ready to change direction. Less monster truck. More rally car.

The Speedland GL:PDX generally fits true to size. Choose your normal UK running-shoe size.

The toe box is spacious and comparable to Topo or Altra, although the overall fit is slightly narrower and more streamlined than the Speedland GS platform. The BOA dial creates a secure forefoot and midfoot hold, while the upper strap accommodates different foot volumes.

If you are between sizes or prefer a closer fit for technical terrain, consider going half a size down.

The GL:PDX is not a direct GS:PDX replacement. It is the lower, more agile member of the family, with deeper lugs and greater trail connection.

It offers the anatomical comfort of a Topo MTN Racer, but with more adjustability and a noticeably more aggressive outsole. Compared with the Saucony Peregrine, it delivers a roomier forefoot and a more technical fit system.

Choose the GS:PDX for maximum protection over huge distances. Choose the GL:PDX when grip, control and precise movement matter more.
