The Speedland Carbitex GearFlex Plate is a removable carbon-fibre upgrade designed specifically for compatible Speedland trail shoes.

Unlike a conventional rigid plate, GearFlex is engineered to behave differently depending on how it is loaded. It remains flexible during landing and lateral movement, allowing the shoe to adapt to uneven terrain and move naturally with your foot. As you push through toe-off, the plate becomes progressively stiffer to add propulsion and a more responsive feel.

The full-length construction also creates another layer of underfoot protection against rocks and sharp trail debris. This makes it useful for faster efforts, technical terrain and longer runs where additional structure can help maintain a consistent ride.

Installation is simple: remove the shoe’s drop-in midsole, position the plate underneath it and return the midsole to the shoe. Remove it again whenever you want a softer and more flexible experience.

It is not a permanent commitment. It is a performance setting.

Select the Carbitex GearFlex Plate according to the original US size printed inside your compatible Speedland shoes. Do not select it using a converted UK storefront size.

Each plate covers a range of shoe sizes and sits underneath the removable drop-in midsole. It should lie flat inside the shoe without folding, trimming or modification.

The plate only fits compatible Speedland models with a removable drop-in midsole.

The GearFlex Plate gives your Speedlands a second personality. Run without it for a softer, more flexible ride. Add it when you want greater propulsion, protection and structure.

Unlike the rigid plate included with selected RX models, GearFlex is designed specifically for variable trail movement. It remains more adaptable underfoot and allows lateral flexibility on uneven ground.

This is not essential equipment for every run. It is a smart upgrade for runners who want to change how their Speedlands perform without buying another pair of shoes.
