The ASICS GT-2000 15 proves that a stability shoe does not need to feel heavy, rigid or slow.
Its updated FF BLAST MAX midsole uses a softer formulation and adds 2 mm of cushioning over the previous version. This creates a more protective and energetic ride while maintaining the controlled platform for which the GT-2000 is known. PureGEL technology beneath the heel softens landings, while a trampoline-inspired forefoot pod adds extra response through toe-off.
Stability comes from ASICS’ 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM. Rather than forcing the foot against a traditional medial post, it combines platform geometry and controlled deformation to provide adaptive support when required. The result is a centred, guided transition that feels supportive without constantly reminding you that you are wearing a stability shoe.
Despite its taller 40 mm heel stack, the GT-2000 15 remains relatively lightweight and easy to turn over. It is comfortable enough for everyday mileage and long runs, but responsive enough to handle steady efforts and moderate tempo work.
A new engineered woven upper provides breathable, secure support around the foot, while strategic outsole rubber adds durability across regular road mileage.
